23 INCH 5 TONE HOLE ASIAN MINOR SCALE FOREST BAMBOO FLUTE
This bamboo flute has a moody, and meditative Shakuhachi style voice with a thumb hole. Tuned to the pentatonic minor scale. A 440 concert pitch tuning.
Cured Chinese bamboo is customized with water based stain applications, and custom mixed stains to create the green finish, with hand carving and painting by Nicole Richardson. The bore is detailed in gold. Brown thread bindings.
We add the Kanji script for ZEN on this flute to enhance the intention or we can add any symbol or script for no extra charge.

2/28/09 testimonial on my new Shakuhachi and new Anazasi flutes.
Thomas - the Shakuhachi has a really cheerful, happy tone, with a rich, soothing quality -- Well Done!!!. I also really like Nicole's art work. It has a real "dynamic life" quality to it, yet a nice balance of simplicity, activity and space. It will be perfect for the work we discussed. You and Nicole are right on target with this one!
I haven't worked much with the Anasazi yet - but as always the tone on that is quite nice as well. I'll write some more about this one tomorrow.
