3 Foot Samurai Kanji Green Bamboo Flute
Looking back in history to a time when the Japanese Samurai could not carry their Samurai swords in public and being very adept and clever the Samurai chose to build their bamboo flutes out of the root end stock and turned their Shakuhachi flutes into martial arts weapons!
Interesting history and the inspiration for this 3 foot flute.
Pentatonic
Minor tuning with a thumb hole on the bottom of the flute body like the Japanese Shakuhachi. Deep in sound. Concert pitch tuning.
Made from cured larger diameter Chinese Stone bamboo. 36 inches in length.
Powerful looking and natural in appearance.
Kanji script for SAMURAI has been hand carved and painted to enhance the intent of this meditative and deep sounding Asian flute.
