You can play some very interesting sounding musical lines with a simple straight up and down the scale fingering. Everything sounds very middle eastern. My flutes are great tools to explore NADA YOGA, sound meditation.

Features hand painting and carving with a vine/flower motif on the top of the flute and a woodburnt OM symbol.

Aum (also Om) ॐ is a mystical or sacred syllable in the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred exclamation to be uttered at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or previously to any prayer or mantra and also is said in the beginning of any puja (religious ritual). The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable. The Symbol is written on the tongues of children in honey when they are born.

I LOVE both of the flutes you built. They are really spectacular - both in looks, and especially in sound. I love the rich, deep tones of the Arabian flute, and the hauntingly beautiful, and healing sounds of the Middle Eastern Forest flute.
