19 INCH 6 TONE HOLE ARABIAN SCALE FOREST FLUTE
Beautiful looking bamboo flute, fire treated finish and a custom binding. I can build this flute for you with any symbol you would like. The OM symbol is pictured.
Aum (also Om) ॐ is a mystical or sacred syllable in the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred exclamation to be uttered at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or previously to any prayer or mantra
and also is said in the beginning of any puja (religious ritual). The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable. The Symbol is written on the tongues of children in honey when they are born.
Custom mix of stains. Eco-flow water based stain application. Steel wool finishing work. Waxed vinyl thread bindings. Hand rubbed in orange oil. Hand painted.
1-3 octaves in A 440 concert pitch tuning.

I LOVE both of the flutes you built. They are really spectacular - both in looks, and especially in sound. I love the rich, deep tones of the Arabian flute, and the hauntingly beautiful, and healing sounds of the Middle Eastern Forest flute.
I can't thank you enough for these wonderful instruments. I just can't say enough about them. They are quite special, and I know that they will be conduits for an extraordinary energy.

The flute arrived today, and I want to keep playing, but have to stop to tell you how beautiful it is and how beautiful it plays!
You know I already love the bansuri type flutes you've built - but this totally exceeded my expectations. Nicole's art work is wonderful. I am totally blown-away by the amount of work the two of you obviously put into this work of art. Your choices of color, the blend of the carving, the smell of the incense and the sound all combine to create an incredible experience. I really love this flute - and I can't wait to spend hours and hours learning it!!!
