Gentle Spirit Flute Replica
GENTLE SPIRIT FLUTE REPLICA BAMBOO FLUTE
This forest flute is 26 inches in length and has a unique 6 tone hole tuning which sounds meditative, with a clear Native style sound and tuning.
Easy to play, with a nice comfortable finger stretch. Heart opening sounds.
The flute ships is various keys according to the bamboo size and has a 2 octave range.
You can play some very healing Native style sounding musical lines with a simple straight up and down the scale fingering. Some really cool pentatonic Native sounds begin to happen when you keep the 4th tone hole closed and run the scale. Beautiful Native flute sounds happen when using traditional Native American style fingering techniques on this flute.
The flute design is a replica of a flute made by my flute building guru from 15 years ago who was named Gentle Spirit, now he is known as AFREEEYE. You can see him at the North Port Barter Faire or at the Earth Rising Sanctuary on Feather's land in Kettle Falls Washington. AFREEEYE is a spiritualist, martial artist, Reiki healer, Yoga
master and he makes some unique flutes with special sounding tunings which are Spirit based. This flute is a replica of one of the flutes of his that I own and that he made many years ago.
His flutes are simple with an almond oil finish. I have updated his original design with a custom finish, Kanji script, and I've tuned the flute in concert pitch.
KANJI for SPIRIT has been carved and woodburnt into the bamboo. Handpainting is added. Final finish application of orange and lemon oil.
This is a great sounding and beautiful looking cured green bamboo flute!
