3 FOOT NORTH INDIAN BHAIRAVA RAGA CURED GREEN BAMBOO MEDITATION FLUTE

Another one of my custom designs and an exotic Indian tuning.

This cured bamboo flute has a mystical, north Indian raga sound with 2 octaves. It is tuned to either C or B flat minor BHAIRAVA thaat which is an eastern raga found in north Indian classical music. The sound is very mystical, meditative and ancient. Tuned in A 440 concert pitch. Features a sound chamber above the emboucher in the David Carradine design style. 3 feet in length.

This is a unique flute design which features 2 thumb holes on the side/bottom of the flute.

I have customized the look of this cool bamboo flute with eco-flow water based stain, light fire treated finish which has been sealed with Bee's wax while still hot from the fire.

Hand rubbed finish in lemon and orange oil. My artist belly dancer wife Nicole Richardson has handcarved and hand painted an image of Krishna on the upper chamber and other eastern artistic motiffs on the body of this beautiful flute. This flute can rest on your left shoulder when playing. This is an interesting one of a kind flute!

The bore is hand polished with cherry brown eco-flow natural water based stain. Waxed vinyl thread bindings.
