15 inches in length. Built by Thomas from cured Chinese stone bamboo which has been fire treated and cured before it arrives at my workshop. Beautiful bamboo enhanced with an original artistic custom finish. A mix of wood stains are used to achieve the finish. Eco-flow water based stains are used to complete the finishing process. Brown hemp thread bindings. Hints of gold color in the finish.
Tuned in A 440 concert pitch. To A Egyptian minor. A BFLAT C CSHARP E F GSHARP A.
6 finger holes. The pinky finger covers the root note.
Very mysterious, a mystical sounding flute tuning. Exotic and unique.

I received the flute today and I can only say it is amazing. I have spent the last hour just looking at all the detail and art work and can only imagine the work that went into it. Each time I pick it up to look at it I discover something new. Nicole's art work is absolutely fantastic. She perfectly captured and expounded on my intital idea for this zodiac flute and I could not be happier with the finished design. The detail of her carvings and the way she incorporated the different characters in an interactive and playful style is really great and exudes a very positive vibe. The few notes I have played on it sound beautiful as well. I can not wait to start really practicing with it and developing my ability to play it as well as a flute this awesome deserves to be played. Thank you again and please give my heartfelt thanks to Nicole for her wonderful efforts.
